When you have chronic low back or hip pain, it can be hard to focus on anything else. Often, the source of chronic pain stems from minor misalignments in your posture, such as standing with your weight on one foot more than the other, hunching over a computer, or even sitting on your furniture. In this 2 hour experiential workshop, you’ll use yoga positions and Alignment Essentials to create a more optimal alignment in your body, help relieve pain and prevent it from coming back.
This class is recommended for anyone with minor aches and pains, a history of back or hip challenges, or even if you’re feeling great and just want to stay that way! (This is not a substitute for medical attention if you have a current acute injury.) Yoga teachers who attend can get 2 Yoga Alliance CEUs.
Please bring a yoga mat, two 4” wide yoga blocks, a 6 foot (or longer) yoga strap, and 2 firm blankets or large beach towels. Hands-on assists will be offered, but are optional.
