Psoas Release Party!

  • bodymindheartyoga.com (map)

The Iliopsoas (aka the psoas, for short) is a muscle that wraps around your hips, connecting your upper body to your lower body. It's used in walking, standing, and any time you bend at the hip. When we do a lot of sitting, the psoas gets "locked short," meaning it has lost some of its strength and flexibility, and this can cause pain in the hips and lower back. In this workshop, you'll learn ways to release and stretch your psoas, allowing you to feel more freedom in your hips and spine. Yippee!
